QPLCE Grant has been used for a Network Attached Storage System which provides much improved network security and greatly increased storage.

May 2018
Wightons Lawyers acting for the charitable trust established by the late FED Buckley donated funds for a five minute promotional video of the Museum which will present a view of the museum experience from the visitor’s perspective and a 20 min documentary video 'History of the Borough of Queenscliffe'.

PROV grant has been used to aid in the digitisation of the Museum collection of documents.

Queenscliff Bowling, Tennis & Croquet Club provided a second donation for the purchase of 12 museum standard storage boxes for the long term storage of our most vulnerable items on the extended basement shelving provided in their earlier donation.  These are essential items that allow us to meet our MAP accreditation obligations.  Thanks very much to the club for their generous donation.

The Borough of Queenscliffe provided a grant which allowed the Museum to purchase four new chairs which has greatly improved the safety and comfort for our volunteers. Also the grant allowed the storage shelving in the basement to be completed, a very necessary item for housing the many items donated to us. Thanks to the Borough.

Major prize donor for our QHM Annual Fundraiser Raffle.

​​Thanks to the generosity of the Queenscliff Bowling,Tennis and Croquet Club (QBTCC), the museum has been able to purchase and install some additional 3 metres of multi-level Museum-compliant steel                                                    storage shelving.

​A very necessary addition to ensure safe and efficient storage of the Museum's valuable artifacts.

Belmont Timber donated Timber to allow a cabinet maker and one of our Volunteers, Bill Sawyer, to make a beautiful new cabinet for our merchandise display stand.

The cabinet timber makes the merchandise area stand out.

Grant for large screen TV

Many thanks to the Borough.  It has enhanced our viewing area tremendously and now we often find visitors sitting their for some time                                                      engrossed in the many historic films                                                  we have on offer.

Our books, booklets and information sheets are now in the one spot so Visitors can easily see our publications and it complements our new display cabinet.

Local Support

The Borough of Queenscliffe has a rich history and the Visitor Information Centre, located next door to the museum, has a wealth of information about the other local historical attractions within the region. These include The Bellarine Railway, Fort Queenscliff, and the Queenscliffe Maritime Museum. ​
