Letter from Uncle Sam Fripp

A letter from Diana Allen's great great uncle Sam Fripp to his sister Ruth in England,who was Diana's great grandmother, describing his boat trip from Southhampton to Melbourne and all the people he met on board in 1875 as well as a description of Melbourne and his new jackerooing job at Point Henry.  He eventually became a successful industrial chemist in Melbourne [Rocke Tomsitt] and owned ‘Villa Alba’ in Kew
