2019 Queenscliffe History Course
Learn about the history of the Borough of Queenscliffe, brush up on your knowledge of the history, or just come along and share your version of the history.
The course will be presented by a team of expert presenters and uses the resources of the Queenscliffe Historical Museum, including documents, photographs and articles. Most sessions will be held at Museum, and when possible and appropriate the sessions will include walks within the town and a visit to the Maritime Museum.

- Aboriginals, exploration, settlement
- Town development, farming, railway
- Pilots, light-houses, fishing, the harbour
- The Grand (and not so grand) Hotels
- Guest houses
- Entertainment: music, cinema, sailing, sport, races, treasure hunting
- Education and welfare
- Defence

Cost: $50 for 8 sessions plus cost of admission to the Maritime Museum
